Eternal Otter Records is pleased to announce the Sound + Vision art exhibition at the North Dam Mill in Biddeford, ME on November 19th & 20th. Sound + Vision explores the relationship between music and the visual arts with 8 installations from Maine-based musicians.

Each artist has composed a song and accompanying visual installation ranging across multiple mediums, including video, giant pinatas, and crime scene recreations. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to listen to the songs related to each of the installations on a gallery-provided mp3 players. The exhibition playlist is now available at eternalotterrecords.bandcamp.com for free download.

The exhibition runs from 11 am - 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday in the main events room of the North Dam Mill (2 Main St, Biddeford, ME). The event is free and open to the public. Please consider supporting the project by donating through bandcamp when you download the exhibition playlist.

Participating artists include A Severe Joy, Blood Warrior, Computer at Sea, Drab Pony, Dead Man's Clothes, Hi Tiger, Meghan Yates, and Panda Bandits.

Dead Man's Clothes and Computer At Sea have created installations that will allow visitors to generate sounds onsite.

Eternal Otter Records celebrates the release of treble treble vol. 3 with a retrospective style night of performances. A three year project made possible by support from the Maine Arts Commission, treble treble documents the contemporary underground music scene emerging in Maine. Volume 3., curated by Ian Paige (Planets Around the Sun) and pressed on blue vinyl, features songs by Big Blood, Samuel James, Wesley Hartley and Traveling Trees, Nasty Negligee, Kent, Village of Spaces, Gay Camp, Drab Pony, Jakob Battick and Phantom Buffalo.

The release show features performances from each of the treble treble compilations including Aleric Nez, Dead Man's Clothe's, Drab Pony and Jakob Battick. Complete with a record listening station, band artwork and special guest appearances, this show would be a perfect introduction into the dynamic underground music scene us Mainers can be proud of.

That's right. This Sunday the 13th of November the Apohadion Theater is about to be bombarded with a major rock show. Traveling all the way from  Jacksonville Florida the Memphibians will be joined by Portland's Mouth Washington and Pat and Jeremy's new project Catshit. Bring some ear plugs.
